Harry George Percy Garnet Man was born on 10 April 1874, in the Presidency of Bengal, India, the son of George Octavious and Mary (Bradford) Man. It has been suggested that he had a family although no contact has been made. A marriage for a George V. Man has been found in Edmonston. He died on 8 September 1929 at Hove, Sussex. Percy belongs to Generation Six. Notes: We so far have no other data on Percy so we do not know if there are descendants of his. However in William Lionel Man's "Dairy" - a note book consisting of newspaper cuttings and addresses, mostly family related and dated around 1900 - 1901 - there are a few address entries for Percy Man as follows:
This would suggest the possibility that Percy may have had a family in Brazil. We will have to wait and see. |
