Nigel Charlesworth was born on 28 August, 1942, at Colne, the son of William Stanfield and Andrena Morrison (Reis) Charlesworth.  He married Gillian McGuinness on 5 December 1967, at Harrow. Gillian was born 26 March 1944 at Inverness.

Nigel and Gillian belong to Reis Generation Five; their children belong to Reis Generation Six and are:
