Neville Alfred Gortmans was born in 1925 at 70 Sinclair Road, Kensington,
London, the son of Constance Rita (Reis) and
Godefridus Laurentius Gortmans. He married Lillian Ada Crow (Joy) on 8 September 1945
at Ingatestone Chapel, Essex. Joy was born
on 12 May 1920 in Bromsgrove, Birmingham, the daughter of Violet (Rolf) and
Edward Crow. She died on 25 February 2002 in Christchurch
Hospital.
Neville and Joy belong to Reis Generation Four; their daughter belongs to
Reis
