John Man was born in 1732 or 1733 in Wargrave, Berkshire, the elder son of Jonas and Mary (Burren) Man, and was baptized on 12 February 1732/3 at St Mary the Virgin, Wargrave. He married Sarah Holderness on 13 December 1761 at St Mary, Wargrave.  John's burial has not been found as yet.

Sarah Holderness was born in Wargrave in 1734/5, the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (    ?     ) Holderness, and was baptized on 20 January 1734/5 at St. Mary, Wargrave.  Sarah was buried on 12 March 1795 at St. Mary the Virgin, Reading, Berkshire.

John and Sarah belong to Generation Three; their children belong to Generation Three and are:
