Katherine Eleanor Durnford was born on 30 July 1966, the daughter of Stephen and Zuzana (Knourek) Durnford.  She married Barry Charles Pain on 29 July 1989.  He was born on 21 March 1968 in Brentford, Middlesex. They were divorced.
