Ian Felton Hampson was born on 4 December 1929, in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, the second child of Katharine Denison (Adam) and John Felton Hampson.  Ian died in 1970 in Vancouver, Canada.  He married (1) Angela La Bianca on 3 December 1960, in New York City.  She was born on 24 October 1930, in Milan, Italy.  He then married (2) Jennifer Margaret Simpson on 19 March 1977.  She was born on 31 October 1935 in Penrith, Cumberland.  Ian and Angela belong to Generation Eight; their two living children belong to Generation Nine.
