Ella Katharine Emma Man was born on 12 July 1861 in Kurrachee, Lower Sindh, Presidency of Bombay, India, the daughter of Harry Edward Julius and Henriette (Fowle) Man, and was baptized on 14 August 1861 at Kurrachee.  She married Fredrick Ernest Upfield-Green on 1 July 1896 at St John the Baptist, Pinner, Middlesex.  Ella died on 26 January 1934 at 'Terra Nova', Prestwood, Buckinghamshire and was buried 31January at Prestwood, Great Misseneden. Frederick Upfield-Green was born on 13 July 1859, the son of Upfield Green, and died on 24 June 1945 at Hyde Heath, Amersham. Ella and Frederick belong to Generation Six; their children belong to Generation Seven and are:

NOTE: In the 1881 census she is living with her aunt Eleanor Ann. Ella's names on her baptism are : 'Ella Katharine Emma' but in The Times death notice (below) her names are given as:  'Ella Emma Catherine'.  Frederick Upfield-Green was a printer by trade.
