Christopher Thomas (Chris) Lorenz was born on 6 May 1946 at Gloucester, the son of Catherine Jessamy Cairns James and Hans Viktor Lorenz.  He married Clare Susan Cunningham Bury on 9 January 1971.  Christopher died on 7 February 1996.  Clare was born on 18 November 1947 in Trumpington, Cambridge. Christopher and Clare belong to Generation Nine; their two children belong to Generation Ten and are living.
