Alan Graham Hampson was born on 14 December 1931 in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, the youngest son of Katherine Denison Adam and John Felton Hampson.  He married Carolyn Joan Yelland on 7 November 1958 in Kelowna, BC, Canada.  Alan died on 9 March, 1986. He was killed by a drunk driver.  Carolyn was born on 19 November 1939 in Vancouver, Canada.  Alan and Carolyn belong to Generation Eight; their two living children belong to Generation Nine.
